At Clos des Jacobins,

you enjoy magnificent guest rooms surrounded by the famous centuries-old vines of the most renowned French wine appellations.

Treat yourself to a night in the heart of a region that will not leave you indifferent. Clos des Jacobins and Saint-Émilion as a whole have been shining for 2 millennia. After the Romans who chose it as their first land of welcome in the region, it was in the 7th century that the monk Emilion settled there and gave it his name. Very quickly, the famous limestone of Saint-Emilion, which will be used in the construction of Bordeaux, will become the other wealth of this fabulous terroir.

In the 12th century, Henry II, King of England, married Eleanor of Aquitaine and offered the city a special status unique at the time in exchange for its wines which he particularly liked.

Since then, the history of the city, its landscapes classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and its great wines have maintained the magic of this unique terroir in the world.

Staying at Clos des Jacobins means taking the time to visit the vineyards and the village of Saint-Émilion. Also that of a breakfast or an aperitif on the terrace in the middle of the vines, to admire the sunlight caressing the grapes.

It also means taking advantage of the immensity offered by the Dordogne valley which gives Clos des Jacobins a unique location.

Celebrating life at Clos des Jacobins also means creating and enjoying simple and rare moments.
